Creative Studio Services
Simple, structured support to help you move from idea to clear, usable brand identity. Each step is designed to guide you though the process, whether you're just starting out, or refining an existing idea.
1. NAME IT - Brand Name Concept Creation
This is the first stage of building your brand identity, focused on generating creative name ideas based on your concept, goals, and intended audience. This stage is designed to explore direction, tone, and positioning.
The purpose of this stage is to generate meaningful, relevant, and strategically aligned name ideas that reflect the essence of your brand concept.
What's included:
5 brand name concepts
Names created to reflect your idea, tone, and direction
A simple explanation of the creative reasoning behind each name
Important: This stage is for creative concept development only. Names are not checked for domain availability, trademark registration, or social handle use at this stage. Any availability checks are carried out in the CHECK IT stage.
Additional clarification: Names provided should be treated as conceptual branding directions, not confirmed or guaranteed business names. Final suitability depends on external availability and legal verification processes carried out outside this service.
2. CHECK IT - Name Validation & Availability Checks
This stage reviews your chosen brand name to assess it's availability and potential usability across key business and digital platforms. It helps identify early conflicts before you invest further in building your brand identity.
What's included:
Domain name availability check
UK trademark availability check (initial search)
Companies House name search (UK business register)
Business name conflict search across existing UK trading names
Social media handle availability overview across 2 key platforms
Outcome: You will receive a clear summary outlining whether your chosen name appears available for use, along with any conflicts identified during the search process.
Where issues are identified, guidance will be provided on whether adjustments may be suitable or whether an alternative direction is recommended.
If the name is not available: Up to 2 refined alternatives based on your original direction. Or return to NAME IT if a new direction is required.
Important legal note: This stage provides a preliminary availability and risk overview. It does not constitute legal advice, does not guarantee trademark clearance, and does not confirm that a name is legally protected or available for commercial use. Clients are advised to undertake independent legal due dilligence before final business registration or trading use.
3. BRAND IT - Brand Identity Direction Development
This stage develops a clear and structured brand identity based on your approved and available name. It defines how your brand should look, feel, and communicate across platforms, providing a foundation for consistency and recognition.
The purpose of this stage is to translate your idea into a cohesive brand direction that can be applied to your website, social media, and future design work.
What's included:
Ideal customer profile definition (who your brand is aimed at)
Brand tone of voice guidance (how your brand should sound and communicate)
Core messaging direction to support clarity and positioning
Colour palette development (3–5 colours aligned to your brand tone)
Typography direction suggestions
Tagline options (up to 2 variations)
Short brand description suitable for website or social media use
Important: This stage provides brand direction and guidance only. It does not include final graphic design assets, completed logos, or fully developed visual identity systems.
All outputs are intended to guide how your brand should be presented, rather than act as finished design files.
Additional clarification: Brand direction is based on the information provided at the time of briefing. Any significant change in business direction, audience, or concept after delivery may require a new or revised service.
